Setup Instructions #1
(using liner technique)
1 Locate a visually appealing
site for the fountain
2 Have an electrical source installed or integrate a source
you already have close by. (standard 110v, 3 prong grounded)
3 You can integrate an incoming water source with a water
float to maintain a constant water level or simply refill
reservoir as necessary. (There will be a loss of performance
or the pump girgling or hissing when there is a lack of water)
4 Dig a hole approximately 1 ft deep or more. (You may dig
hole depth less, but will have to refill more often unless
you have incoming water source and water float) Make sure
center is as level as possible for support pedestal.
5 Dig perimeter 1 ft or more past the diameter of your fountain.
6 Lay liner in hole overlapping past the perimeter of top
edge of hole by 6 or more.
7 Put pedestal(cinder blocks, bricks or poured cement) in
center of hole. Make sure there is a gap, crack, etc. in order
to run the tubing from the pump up through the fountain and
make sure top of pedestal is level with ground. (can be up
to an 1 in. or more higher than ground level to accommodate
for settling)
8 Cut metal grate or chicken wire to extend past the circumference
of hole 6 inches or more as you did with liner above.
9 Place fountain in center of pedestal. Use level on top edge
of fountain to ensure level. Use shims or any other material
inserted between bottom of fountain and top of pedestal to
make level.
10 Run tubing through fountain and pedestal and connect to
pump.
11 Cover grate/chicken wire with pebbles, stone, etc.
12 Fill with water. We recommend about 2-4 inches below grate/chicken
wire for a good sound.
13 Plug in
Adjust pump to taste
14 ENJOY!
